Jack ‘s customer had eight pieces of elk antlers fabricated to be used as potential pull handles. He needed backplates and mounting system in order to make 4 sets of back-to-back pulls for a retail store entrance.
Upon receipt of the actual antler horn ‘pulls’, we designed a standoff and custom escutcheons to install back-to-back without exposed screw heads. The client requested we machine the antler horns and assemble the standoffs. Due to the oversize diameter of the ‘pulls’ we ultimately needed to offset the handles for adequate clearance on a narrow stile door.
